Frequently Asked Questions
Are dogs allowed?
I am afraid we can’t welcome dogs.
Are there toilets?
Yes, there is a portable toilet and a disabled portable toilet. We will be checking them regularly but please bring your own hand sanitizer too.
Do you take cash or card?
We accept both.
How much are children?
Children under 2 are free. 2+ is charged as we are fun for all the family. Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult. As we are a working farm, please do not let children wander the farm and keep them with you.
What should I wear?
Please dress appropriately. The tulips are grown in a field and this is where you pick them from – it could be muddy! Please dress for the weather, there is limited shelter.
Is there food?
Yes, there will be food and drinks available to purchase. Please dispose of all rubbish in bins provided.
Can we bring our own food?
You can but please make sure all rubbish is put in bins.
Is the site suitable for a pushchair?
We are a working farm and so the field is uneven. We would recommend using a baby sling not a buggy.
Do you pay for parking?
No, parking is free but cars are left at their owners risk.
What if the weather is bad?
It is rare that we would have to close. In extreme circumstances of bad weather we may need too for Health and Safety. Please check our social channels or website before leaving home. We will always endeavour to email anyone affected too.
Are tickets refundable?
Tickets are not refundable.

We recommend it. If we are at capacity we will not accept walk ins. It is also cheaper to book in advance.
How do we cut the tulips?
Please bring cutters with you, we will have a small number to hire but you will have to pay to use them and leave a deposit.
What is a Spring Hunt?
The Spring Hunt is for our younger visitors to enjoy. It is very child dependant but we think up to 8 will enjoy it. There is a prize at the end which is non-food. Adults can accompany children on it with just an entry ticket.
Is there a Special Educational Needs Session?
Yes, there is - it is 24th April 10am-12pm. Tickets are available to book.
Can I use a wheelchair?
The tulips are in a field and the ground is uneven. If it has been dry then it might be possible, people have managed in previous years.
Will all tulips be in bloom?
No, due to the nature of the flowers not all rows will be in bloom the whole. There will be plenty of choice and it ensures the tulips are fresh for our visitors.
